Biography With a BBA in marketing, I work full-time as the School Partnerships Manager for the Clean Air Campaign and volunteer as the Public Relations Chair for the Environmental Education Alliance of Georgia. I also work part-time at the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, GA, where for 6 years I have taught groups of children and adults as a naturalist and canoe guide, and volunteered in their wildlife clinic working with injured birds of prey and reptiles. I am also a trainer for the Projects WET, Wild and Learning Tree curriculums.
Why I am qualified to teach
Environmental Science*
Prerequisites for this Activity

Because this badge uses higher level science and should be viewed as the capstone to all merit badges with an environmental science focus (hence the designation for Eagle), boys must be in at least 7th grade to participate in my class.

Before arriving, scouts must have read the merit badge book and printed the worksheets. I would like for the class to be very hands-on, so because of our limited time scouts must have completed requirements: 1, 2, 3f, 5 and 6. Bring your completed worksheets/journals for these requirements.

In class we will complete: 3a3, 3b3, 3c2, 3d1, 3e1 and 4a.

Please fill out your blue cards as much as possible before arriving. Feel free to email me with any questions.

Youth Protection not completed within the past two years.
